History in Action

As part of the 2017 Channel Islands Heritage Festival, GHIAC presented a promenade performance of Burnt at the Stake on Friday 21st April.

It started in Market Square, then players and audience processed to the other end of the market for the second scene, after which everyone crossed The Bordage and climbed the steps to Tower Hill for the finale.

Between 75 and 100 people watched the spectacle, some getting into the spirit of things by shouting apt comments.

The promenade was repeated on

17th and 27th July.
